Low Friction

I hate complicated things. I don’t think things ever really need to be complicated especially when it comes to small devices or software. If something is complicated or difficult to use then whoever made it didn’t know what they really wanted to build.

Recently i found the best example of an easy to use device I’ve ever encountered. Its this little adapter for your iPod made by nike. You pop one end in your shoe and one end on your iPod and you start running. When you sync your iPod it uploads your run to nike and you can view it. You can also share your runs, like I have below, set personal goals or “race” your friends virtually.

What a great device I don’t have to turn it on, or off or upload it by hand, its just an added benefit. low friction!
